Handcrafted in Cape Town from full-grain vegetable-tanned leather — the highest grade available. Our leather is 100% chrome-free, tanned with mimosa and quebracho bark by South African tanneries. University of Stellenbosch 2025 testing measured an average tear strength of 42 N/mm², nearly double that of standard chrome-tanned leather (21–28 N/mm²). Care Instructions
Full-grain vegetable-tanned leather requires minimal care. Wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Apply a leather conditioner once or twice a year. The leather will naturally develop a patina — this is a hallmark of genuine quality. Store in the dust bag provided when not in use.
